Our journey began with a love for the Scottish countryside, particularly the abundant moss and ferns. After moving from England to the west coast of Scotland, I was captivated by the sheer beauty of the green spaces. Inspired to bring a piece of that natural beauty indoors, Moss & Mist Terrarium Co. was born. The name itself reflects our origins: the lush moss we collect and the enchanting mist that forms inside our terrariums each morning.

Our vision extends beyond just selling terrariums. We aim to encourage more people to discover the joy and therapeutic benefits of creating their own miniature ecosystems. We believe terrariums offer a unique connection to nature, promoting mental well-being and quiet reflection. Our future plans include hosting terrarium-making workshops in schools and care homes, sharing the wonder of terrariums with all ages.
